What are The Vulcan’s opening hours?
Mon–Thu 2pm–midnight, Fri–Sun 12pm–midnight.
Can I book a table?
We don’t take bookings. It’s first come, first served, so just come in.
Can I bring the kids?
Yes, children are very welcome until 9pm.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, in the garden, where there’s a covered area for when it rains. They can’t come inside, sorry.
Is there a beer garden?
Yes, we’ve got a beer garden, with a covered area for when it rains.
Is there a smoking area?
Yes, there’s a smoking shelter outside.
Is there parking?
There’s free street parking nearby.
Food & drink
Do you serve food?
We don’t serve food, so it’s drinks only here.
Do you do cocktails?
We do. Ask at the bar what’s on.
Do you have alcohol-free drinks?
Yes, including alcohol-free beer, so the drivers aren’t left out.
Sport
Do you show live sport?
We do, on 23 screens, including a big screen, with Sky Sports, BBC and ITV and TNT Sports. The sound goes up for the big games.
Do you show the football?
Yes. Football’s our big thing.
Do you show Sky Sports?
Yes, we’ve got Sky Sports.
Do you show TNT Sports?
Yes, we’ve got TNT Sports.
Can I book a table for a big game?
Yes, and it’s worth doing for the big ones. Give us a ring on 07736696755 and we’ll save you a table.
Events & access
Is there pool or darts?
Yes, we’ve got one pool table, a dartboard and fruit machines.
Is there a pub quiz?
Yes, every Tuesday from 8pm. Bring a team.
Is there karaoke?
Yes: Karaoke every Friday, 9pm.
Is there live music?
Yes: Acoustic night every other Thursday, from 8:30pm.
